This easy to prepare halva cookies are so tasty.
you will have to prepare them again and again.
100g of soft butter
100g of granulated sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 cups (280g) of flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon of salt
100g of halva, crumbled
3 spoons of roasted sesame
50g of dark chocolate (for decoration)
Preheat oven to 170 degrees
place baking sheet on a small baking pan (18/25 cm)
In a mixing bowl with a flat beater hook
add the butter and sugar
Add the vanilla and the egg and mix until even
Add flour, baking powder, salt, crumbled halva and sesame seeds and mix to dough.
Transfer dough to baking pan and level the top with wet hands.
Bake for 20 minutes (it’s not ready yet)
cool slightly and transfer to large, flat pan.
Cut into cubes and return to oven for an additional 10 minutes.
Let it Cool further.
Decoration: Melt dark chocolate, fill a piping bag and decorate.
Can be kept in a sealed box at room temperature for up to a week.
